I am not a very musically inclined individual. And I am laughing just at the thought of me wanting to learn to play the saxophone. And at 60 years old I went for it and mainly after corresponding with Jeremy and understanding how the course works I just cited to do it. I am not a very musically inclined individual. And two weeks into it I am loving the course, I am enjoying the way I can pace myself and learn at my own speed. The program is very thorough and has taught me a lot already. And I have found Jeremy, the instructor to be very accommodating and available to sort through some of my questions and he helped me immensely around guiding me to a type of beginners Saxophone.
I highly recommend this course for anyone considering learning to play the sax. Rather that would be professional playing joining a band etc. or just for plain enjoyment and fun. I am finding the course and learning to be very enjoyable and easy to learn through Jeremy’s teaching style and his support. I highly recommend this course. And thank you so much for putting all this together it is very professional and well worth the price. And I’m happy to report my squeaks are coming down.
Good tutorial. Just follow instruction and you will be a saxophonist in no time.
By following along with the series and dedicating a couple of hours per week for practise, I've really surprised myself. I can finally play sax! Well done saxtuition
For beginners I have not seen something as useful than saxtuition.
SaxTuition for this old biddie is coming along well.Having hired an old Sax.for 3 months to see how I went worked out really well and now I'm commited to learning to play well. It's a great challenge that I needed turning 70!!!!!!.
I bought this pack for my son a couple months ago, and I honestly can’t believe his progress. Since he started he has joined the school band and is even getting picked for solos. This saved us a lot of money on lessons, and he enjoys working through at his own pace. For those reasons I cannot recommend this series enough. 5 stars!! P.s. when’s the next one coming out?
Haven’t started yet as I’ve been laid up in hospital so I’m looking forward to starting them. From what I’ve read a lot octopi s are covered I had a. Quick look at lesson one ; I’m glad he starts at the very beginning from getting it out of the case, I did my research so I know it’s going to be good so I feel confident in awarding five stars is advance I will rereview once I’ve completed lessons
Jeremy is a great sax teacher. I've had a wee bit of trouble following other tutorials online, but Jeremy explains everything clearly and reminds you of the different techniques as you go. Now that I'm at lesson 10, I'm learning complex songs and starting to play jazz too... On the side I'm also learning a few Dire Straits and George Michael solos like I always wanted in my retirement! Must keep up the practice I guess ;)
Love the play along tracks that come with the videos. Makes it fun to practice!
This series is amazing. You learn how to read music, and learn the basics of sax at the same time. I only had basic music education but now I can actually read music and play sax!
